Today is our big management meeting, after which we are expecting some big announcements of change. At this point, I don't much care WHAT they change - just change it and let's get on with doing what we need to do!
Today is also the day of my uncle Bob's memorial mass. He died Saturday of a massive heart attack at age 58. Pat and Bob lived around the corner from us from when I started high school. I babysat their kids a lot. Bob was a Vietnam Vet, Purple Heart. He bore those scars (emotional as well as physical) all his life. I hope he is at peace now. I pray that all his family will be at peace as well.
